Ryoute Freestyle Karate - We provide ryoute beginners classes in Birmingham . Ryoute is a form of double hand grappling and was developed in the UK by Martin Clewett and Ian Alexander. It is based on the form of karate called karate kata bunkai . Sparring takes place while listening to musicusually consisting of someone djembe drumming . When you learn with us you will be able to gain knowledge of kata applications and how they can bring you focus, spiritual enlightenment and harmony in your life. I would define Ryoute Music as music that you can do Ryoute to that contains hand drums as a basis for the rhythm. However I expect this definition will eventually be superseded. It seems to makes quite good background music to relax to as well for some reason!
